Joe Bird is a British filmmaker and screenwriter working in independent film. He writes and produces horror films, often working within the weird and eerie to explore unease, mystery and tension through character-driven, atmospheric storytelling. His work includes several internationally screened horror shorts and his debut found-footage hybrid horror feature, Abandoned (2026). He works with filmmakers and creative teams on original projects, developing stories from the page to production across short and feature-length film.
