A German student slowly adjusts to her new life in Canada until she is confronted with her past. She immerses herself in a new culture and loses her regional ties in an overstimulating digital media maze. The bogeyman, a haunting folktale, sneaks up on her and uses her phone to contact her before it physically manifests itself.
