About how Gūtenmorgens, unwilling to celebrate Jāņi, defends Latvian traditions and finds a fern flower. Gūtenmorgens tries to dampen his friends' enthusiasm for celebrating Jāņi, until Bērziņš finds him a foreign journalist to be his partner for the celebration.
